The challenge
To test the market for their newly developed bath gift sets, one of our customers required 200 different samples of 35 SKUs within one month.
These 35 SKUs contained more than 100 kinds of packaging and components – most of which required MOQs of more than 1000 units. This meant that the cost for these 200 samples would be higher than for regular orders. What’s more, they needed the samples within one month – during our peak season.
The solution
We worked together with both our regular suppliers and new suppliers to attain the most competitive prices, and completed the materials and components purchasing process within two working days. We checked the production status of all the involved materials and components every other day to ensure they would be ready for assembly and delivery on time to meet the customer’s schedule for market testing.

The unanticipated scale of increase has resulted in stresses right through the supply chain – from raw materials, to packaging and, of course, finished product production and stock.
